Legacy Scholarship Applications Due January 10, 2014

Recommend a student or consider applying for the annual GHSLA Legacy Scholarship.  The Legacy Scholarship was established to provide assistance to a student enrolled in a library and information studies program who intends to pursue a career in health sciences librarianship. The individual must be a current student attending an accredited program with a minimum of 9 earned credit hours.  The scholarship will cover registration for the Annual GHSLA meeting and one nights lodging.  For eligibility guidelines and more information check out the application here:  Legacy Scholarship Application.

The application packet must be received by January 10, 2014.

December 1st Deadline for MLA Grants and Scholarships

Don’t forget to check out the grants and scholarships available annually from the Medical Library Association.  MLA offers a variety of scholarships and grants to assist qualified students in graduate library science programs and to enable practicing health sciences librarians to take advantage of opportunities for continuing professional development.  Click here for more info.
