2020 GHSLA Annual Meeting Postponed Until March 2021

The executive committee initially planned to move the March meeting to June 2020, but due to the current environment and the uncertainty of what the rest of the year will bring, we’ve decided to postpone the conference until March 2021. The 2020 meeting agenda will still be in place, barring any issues with speaker/presenter availability.

The 2021 meeting will be held in-person at Hotel Indigo – Vinings and the finalized dates will be forthcoming.

All registration fees paid for this year’s meeting will be transferred to next year’s meeting. If you require a refund, please contact [email protected] to request one.

Please note: There will still be two more GHSLA regularly-scheduled meetings for 2020. The first will be held virtually in June. The meeting agenda will be sent out in May.

POSTPONED GHSLA Annual Meeting

The GHSLA Spring Meeting planned for Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 IS POSTPONED.

In recognition of the evolving policies, institutional recommendations, and travel restrictions the GHSLA executive board and Planning Committee have decided to postpone the Spring GHSLA meeting.

We are currently working with the hosting hotel to identify available dates for a Summer meeting.  For those that reserved a hotel room, you have until Saturday March 14th at 6pm to cancel without penalty.  We currently have inquires out to see if this window can be extended. For those with room reservations, I would encourage you to contact the hotel directly at 1-770-4325555| Email Hotel

Rountable Topic Survey for Spring 2020 Annual Meeting

Planning to attend the Spring 2020 Annual Meeting? Please fill out a quick survey to help us identify topics of interest for discussion at the Rountables. The survey is about 1 minute long and inquires individuals about what area of focus (leadership, outreach, or instruction) they wish to discuss during the Roundtables as well as to list any specific topics of those areas that are of interest.

Register Now: Annual Spring Meeting March 16-17, 2020

Registration for the 2020 Spring State Conference Annual Meeting is now open. Visit the annual meeting page for full details and links to register.

This year’s meeting will take place Monday, March 16th – Tuesday, March 17th at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta – Vinings.

GHSLA is also offering two scholarship opportunities this year, the Annual Meeting Member Stipend and the Legacy Scholarship for Students. For more information and to apply, check out the scholarships page. Deadline extended to February 26, 2020.
