Scholarly Communications Librarian, Robert B. Greenblatt, M.D. Library, Georgia Regents University (GRU).  Reporting to the Chair of Content Management, the Scholarly Communications Librarian will be responsible for planning, implementing, and leading outreach activities promoting the institutional repository and other scholarly communication initiatives to include issues related to intellectual property and open access of scholarly output at the University. This position will also develop and provide a data management plan consultation services and participate in grant support for research faculty.  The successful candidate will provide best practice standards in the development of electronic theses and dissertations and coordinate efforts for new open access publications on campus.

Required: ALA-accredited master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years professional post-MLS experience or library equivalent experience.  The position has faculty rank and status (non-tenure track).
