Gail Kouame Selected as NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellow for 2019/2020

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL) recently announced the members of the 2019/2020 class of the NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellows Program. This jointly sponsored program prepares emerging leaders for director positions in academic health sciences libraries by pairing fellows with mentors for a one-year leadership development experience.

GHSLA member Gail M. Kouame, MLIS, Assistant Director for Research and Education Services at Robert B. Greenblatt, MD Library, Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia was matched with mentor Rick L. Fought, EdD, MLIS, AHIP, Associate Professor and Director of the Health Sciences Library at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
